Amulets
One morning, while I was waiting for the coffee to brew, I was looking around our kitchen and I thought:
“Wow, how the details have changed since I no longer live alone…”
My home, where I lived before my partner and I discovered this small authentic house, had the feel of a yoga studio, a zen space. As soon as you walked in, that atmosphere breathed on you. I liked it that way. It was in line with my personal journey at the time.
Today, I have my yoga studio, a calm zen space within me, I can take it anywhere. And this modest house, which we have been calling our home for more than two years already, consisting of two rooms, a small bathroom and a large terrace with a view of the surroundings - a 500-year-old tower, vineyards, local houses, lots of greenery - decorate various objects that we mostly found during our discovery trips around the area… on the beach, in the street, in the market... seashells, discarded chairs, a pirate's chest, pine cones, fruit crates, herbs and flowers, fabrics, fairy lights, driftwood, magazines… a cat (this is a different cat than the one I wrote about at the beginning of January, this one is a resident of the local area and spends time with us as it suits her)…
Apart from incense sticks and books, we don't really have any details here that have a spiritual meaning like a Buddha statue and the like, but all those objects we have here, have a soul, a story and make this already authentic house a magical world, full of real Amulets that have a magical power to remind us that the real treasures are usually found along the way, they are within reach, and they are free of charge...
... watching the sunset, the stars... a smile from someone you wished you could spend your days with... doing what you love…
And so, what does it matter that our home doesn't quite resemble a yoga studio anymore, but more like you're standing behind a curtain in a theater where the scene is being set for a fairy tale... It's magical here, and I still salute the sun almost every morning. I don't need a perfectly decorated place, I need myself, the desire to feel well and a yoga mat... and then just... click... like in a fairy tale... I'm in the best yoga studio in the world.
Namaste,
K.

One of the purposes of life is definitely to do what we love and share it with others with the wish that it will help them in their lives in any way. And so I will end the introduction with words that describe the main goal of this space:
Life is the author, I'm just a writer with a humble wish to inspire you to live with joy and help open your heart, because if the heart is open, we are all able to see magic and love everywhere.
Thank you,
Katy
