Life Goes in Circles
There are periods or things, activities that you think you’ve done and moved forward. To “another level” or so. And then one day, to your own surprise, you realize that actually you feel again like doing those things you left behind on your journey to explore “higher” levels of life. Because maybe, you realize too, there are no “levels”, just “circles”. Which help us to rediscover the meaning, the beauty, the joy, simple joy of everything. Which help us to remember that fulfilled life is composed of a little bit of everything.
And what exactly made me to come to this reflection?
One of these circles I just closed. I just arrived to the point where I thought I would never return again.
Now, it sounds like I will make a big revelation of some high spiritual discovery. But no. What made me laugh of myself (again and again), are a few nice things I ordered from a nearby Ikea in Naples and let them sent over here on the island. And the joy of it.
Yes, Ikea. One of the “things” I left behind many years ago.
When I used to live in Prague or anywhere where there was some Ikea nearby, once in a while, I loved to spend a few hours there, buy a few things, get inspired, dreamed. Then on my way through life and also the fact that I was moving so often, I forgot about it. I put it behind.
Not only Ikea, more things, activities, which I gradually felt like no more fulfilling although they were my inspiration before. For instance reading some kind of books, watching movies… simple things, common things.
But as always, at some point, life acts and helps us to see where the truth is.
In balance, obviously.
A little bit of common pleasures, a little bit of exploring “higher levels”.
No extremes.
No saying “never”.
What do we know? Today’s “never” can be the “yes” of tomorrow!
And so, step by step, I relax more and more and enjoy a bit of the free treasures that I find on the sand after the storm or in my heart when I listen to the silence or watch the waves on the empty beach or on the pages of a heart warming novel, a magazine. Or in Ikea and beyond.
With love (and a (Ikea) cup of coffee),
Katy

One of the purposes of life is definitely to do what we love and share it with others with the wish that it will help them in their lives in any way. And so I will end the introduction with words that describe the main goal of this space:
Life is the author, I'm just a writer with a humble wish to inspire you to live with joy and help open your heart, because if the heart is open, we are all able to see magic and love everywhere.
Thank you,
Katy
